Negotiating Peace Accords in Bellicoso for the Head of the Pro-Peace Party (PPP): General Instructions and Confidential Information Case Solution

Bellicoso is a multiple party dispute resolution simulation based loosely on the bitter civil war in El Salvador. It truly is designed to investigate problems in: 1) the management of interactions between external dialogues between sides and internal discussions within them, 2) the tensions that get created when parties can resort to various forms of "violence" in order to "shift the game," 3) the ways that third party intervenors can "gain entrance" into a contradiction in order to mediate it, and 4) the use of staged arrangements to build momentum toward settlement.

Discussions take place between a government team and an opposition team, each and a UN mediator, a total of nine distinct functions.
