In 2015, Montreal issued an international request for producing an all-electric car sharing service. This scenario represented both a danger and an opportunity for car2go, a car sharing service business and a subsidiary of Daimler which had managed 29 cars haring systems across Europe and North America.
Therefore, the question arises that would it be beneficial for car2go to react to the request for interest and, in doing thus, accommodating its successful business model to fit the needs of the local marketplace.And if this is the case, then would be the implications regarding the overall competitiveness of the company.
