Board Process Simulation (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The case provides a role play simulation in which a team of up to 13 players acts as a board of directors of a privately-owned national energy business. The board has to make conclusions about:

1) A foreign-country acquisition proposed by direction, 2) A change in executive compensation.

It includes 3 kinds of managers - affiliated directors representing independent directors, executive directors, and the parent company. Four subcommittees were organized before the board meeting to talk about the issues on the plan and make their recommendations.
