It was a new framework through which companies’ performance could be measured with perspective of social and environment. The three components, economic value, environmental impact and social responsibility combines to become a part of companies Triple Bottom Line. Ekington not only wanted to stay focused towards companies focus but also wanted to know how much a company contributes to the society.
