Twenty-five years after its founding in the homes of members, non-denominational, Evangelical Fellowship Bible Church, of Little Rock, Arkansas became a "mega-church", hold religious services on a 25-acre site in one of the best places in the booming West Little Rock and bring the combined 5000 parishioners on any Sunday. But, as a collection of scholarship has grown, its management has said that the Christian life should go beyond individual salvation and responsibilities of family, friendship, and individual acts of charity, and that church members should strive to be "socially responsible." Scholarship hopes that his help would be clearly and significantly improve the lives of one of the most disadvantaged areas of the city, the 130-block area in the heart of Little Rock. The project will include intensive mentoring students of one school in Little Rock is a predominantly black Midtown South area (scholarship itself was almost entirely white collection), efforts to work with the African-American church encourage marriages prevail in single-parent families, and the initiative to create new housing in the area.
