Krohne’s Entry into the Chinese Market Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Krohne Inc. individually created a joint venture, a fully owned sales company and a manufacturer in China. Sadly, even though the sales channels were distinct, the product lines of the manufacturing company that was fully owned and the joint venture overlapped. The two firms were therefore competing and uncertain about which firm rightfully represented the parent enterprise.

Additionally, the two investment parties were fighting for control of the joint venture. Writer Taohua Ouyang is affiliated with Beijing University. Ling Ding, Zhi Xu, authors Meiying Yang, and Tang Yao are affiliated with Beihang University.
