Fate of the Vasa Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In 1628, the royal ship Vasa was launched. It was the most expensive Swedish warship ever built, costing more than 5% of the GNP. On his first voyage, the ship sailed 1,400 meters in its own harbor, tilted to the side, and then sank. One-third of the 150 crew and officers were killed.
