Ellen Moore (A): Living and Working in Korea Case Solution

The Americans were to be involved for the initial 7 months so as to shift the skills and awareness to the South Koreans, who had little experience in this place. Andrew Kilpatrick, Ellen's first-class, had played an integral part in securing the contract in Korea due to his depth of knowledge on the subject. Andrew picked Ellen Moore to be the key north American project manager because she possessed important management skills of the project as well as great international expertise.

Upon Ellen's coming, she discovered that the Korean advisers were much less proficient than she'd anticipated. In addition, Ellen had understood that Jack and she were considered to be the co founders but tensions instantly appeared between them regarding who was given direction to the extent of the endeavor and the team. The Koreans insisted that Ellen was the trouble. Andrew firmly disagreed. Andrew and Ellen must decide the way to carry on.
