Crosley Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In October 1941, a top envoy in secret U.S. military was sent Crosley Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, to ask for their help to create a weapon that would drastically strengthen the defense of the U.S. troops: the proximity fuze. This fuse will be an enemy aircraft shot down with the index of accuracy and higher than the previous weapon. The task will be difficult, as conventional wisdom held that it took at least four years for the gun to go from concept to production, while the proximity fuse was needed for a short period of time.
