A User-Centred Approach to Public Services (A) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case describes a user-centred approach to public services and is a result after a pioneering cooperation between Hong Kong Design Centre and Hongkong Post. Leveraging a powerful brand and distribution networks and its extensive retail, Hongkong Post has grown past the standard postal service to supplying a complete and broad array of services in the logistics supply chain, at exactly the same time diversifying into new marketplaces.

Hongkong Post understands the present layout of the post offices at the retail level might not have the capacity to satisfy the growing demands and changing patterns of its own users. Users in this circumstance, contain post office staff and both customers. Case (A) focuses on the internal layout, while Case (B) focuses on the outside layout.
