A Close Election Case Solution

He determines to support his candidacy and believes the farmer would represent the average wing of the party efficiently. In a conversation several months after, the nominee discloses he is homosexual although conservative on gay issues, and requests the representative's guidance on whether to disclose his sexual orientation to assistants and his campaign manager. The representative understands the guidance he gives the nominee may shape the results of the election.
He says that he believes it's a private problem the nominee is not obligated to disclose, and that such an entry would make the effort much more challenging.
