UGIS: Understanding the Nature of User-Generated Information Systems Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

People from around the world combining various information technologies, devices, services, applications, networks, and information to create personal information systems. This new phenomenon is enabled by convergence of low-cost, powerful and ubiquitous devices and applications connected through a global network of motivated open ideology and accepted "prosuming" users. This article examines the phenomenon of user information system (UGIS) to better understand its origin and thus to describe his character. The formal definition of UGIS designed and its components are described.
