Triumph Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The case is placed immediately following a devastating fire that destroyed the Triumph Motorcycle Company's manufacturing facility in England. The choice facing his team and Bloor following the fire was whether to reconstruct and revive their strategy before or if another course of action might be worthwhile.

Pupils are challenged to recognize and articulate the strategy during its renaissance of Triumph and appraise whether other alternatives might be more suitable. When they were engaged to help Triumph throughout their restoration, this reflects the assignment granted to Company and McKinsey. The case provides information about the history of Triumph in addition to a present picture of the motorcycle business.
