Wild Salmon Center was initially created to provideanglers access to some of the best fishing on the planet in return for conservation and financing research. Beginning in 1998, the Wild Salmon Center enlarged from angling tourism to the execution of conservation programs geared towardshelping salmon rivers in the far east Russia as well as US Pacific.
This case sheds light onthe Wild Salmon Center's attempts by developing ecotourism angling expeditions to raise capital for the Center's conservation efforts there to shield the pure watersheds of the Kamchatka peninsula. The case touches on the challenges the Wild Salmon Center confronted as it grew, the development of the angling excursions, and participation of local Kamchatka residents and its tactical direction evolved to bigger scale conservation attempts.
