Opportunity International: Measurement and Mission Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

After the "first career" in business, HBS graduate Christopher Crane as Chief Executive worldwide network of microfinance. Dual objectives of the organization are: 1) the development of metrics to give him an accurate picture of their position and influence, and 2) a rapid growth. Students learn how to non-financial indicators are an integral part of the mission of Opportunity International, but it is difficult to define and measure, with the metrics are necessary to demonstrate the success of donors and strategic planning. Additionally, the organization aims to help as many people out of poverty as quickly as possible, but donations and payments are not enough to fuel rapid growth, and other financial instruments are not required. Explores the problems of measuring non-financial success and believes that a compromise to continue as a nonprofit against conversion to non-profit organizations.
