Discussions:

The assessment and the findings made the changes in the leadership and motivational strategies. As life was miserable and everyone had fear in their mind; this behavior had a direct impact over the working environment, because if the employee is not having a sound body; he wouldn’t perform his tasks better. Furthermore, the changing the leadership and motivational style changed the working conditions as well.(Leadership styles, 2020) The discussion is done for coping with such issues and the final consequences are driven out, which are discussed in Table 2:

 Table 2

Effects Implications Consequences
WFH-Work from Home The physical existence of the employees changed in work from home. They changed the mindset of people that the work could be done from their homes as well, and directed them to practice the change. The results came out that the monitoring and controlling policies were high in the WFH. Moreover, the employees started to adopt the change and completed their tasks while stayingat home.
Virtual Teams Virtual teams were made and the employees had to be part of direct and indirect communication. The organizations had to provide the proper chain of communication and the integration for the bonding of the employees.
Virtual Leadership and Management Management had to adopt the virtual meetings and the challenges of the connection of WFH and others were discussed here. Organizations had to focus on leadershiptechniques to overcome any challenges and optimism and realistic techniques were applied like Charisma.
Stress and Burnout The stress of demands of jobs and the inadequate resources, which were creating the layoff and the fear of losing the job increased in the employees. Leaders tried to facilitate the employees and the job crafting ideas were discussed with the employees.
Cultural differences The cultural difference issue raised and the norms were tried, in order to make flexibility, to reduce any cultural difference. Leaders assessed the situation and analyzed when to make the rules rigid and flexible and tried to createprotection forevery culture.
Personality Personality traits of the employees made the leaders associated with the employees more than prior to the Covid 19 situation, because every employee-shad different traits: some were enthusiastic and extravert while some were reserved and introverts. Leaders had to make the sessions regarding the goals and job tasks. They had to clarify the benefits of WFH and the involvement of everyone was focused on.
Gender In such conditions, men are affected more as compared to ladies, because most outdoor work and social connectionsare done among them. Women are less affected by such conditions. Here, the consequences came out regarding the gender value, and the social connection had decreased for both men and women. Covid19 changed the leadership style and made it more masculine.

Conclusion:

In this assessment, we discussed how the leadership and motivational style were changed according to the pandemic. Different theories and perceptions were analyzed and the human behavior frame was studied to find the issues in the personal and work life of an employee. The leaders changed the strategies to motivate the employees and to reduce the fear which is surrounding in their minds. Mostly we see the situation based on our perceptions and mindset rather than how it actually is. If we have more negative aspects in our mind and we focus on threats then we are most likely to get more bad outcomes, but if an optimistic mindset is made then there would be more focus on opportunities as compared to threats,so the fear would be decreased. Similarly, the leadership approach changed the mindset of people and the possible alternatives are found to make the work-life balance better in such condition..........................
