Greenpeaces Unfriend Coal Campaign and Facebook Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Director facebook link to the policy faced with a situation caused by the video YouTube, posted by non-governmental organizations (NGO) Greenpeace. This video has publicly criticized the environmental sustainability solutions Facebook, to build a new data center, its main objection is that the new facility will be connected to your local utility to supply electricity mainly from coal, one of the largest sources of global warming. This video was just the latest in a series of actions, Greenpeace launched eight months ago, immediately after the decision of Facebook, to build a new building. Greenpeace dubbed these actions "Unfriend Coal Campaign," which now has 500,000 followers and caused numerous media history. Greenpeace goal was to put pressure on Facebook to adopt clean energy policies through the use of Facebook's own social media against the company.
