The board of Young Presidents' Organization needs to decide on the future of its Networks Initiative, designed to connect its geographically dispersed membership base through 60 different interest established networks. Young Presidents' Organization Case Solution
Two options were measured. The first option, called 'extensive networks' focused on developing poorer ties and entailed keeping the initiative intact, but financing it better, by allowing outside sponsors to provide the funds. The second option, called 'deep networks' entailed providing them with support, and scaling down the number of networks, and focused on developing powerful ties to encourage deep network creation, all funded internally.
