Just like other businesses, Volvo Group had a strong imbalance between women and men at all levels, particularly in direction. In response to this, several activities were suggested by the Volvo Group. The case describes the application, including its development, its parts, and supervisors' and the firm's encounters with it. The plan has been successful in helping everyone work more constructively. The "Walk the Talk" plan was clearly a success at Volvo. The challenging question is whether non-Swedish organizations could use exactly the same strategy efficiently and what opposition it might meet. Learning objective: to discuss new content for sex- the conditions under which different kinds of diversity initiatives can achieve success and diversity training.
