One of the largest seafood companies in North America is known as Fishery Products International Ltd.The 15th anniversary of Vic Young as a CEO of the firm was marked. Under his direction, the business beat the fall of the North Atlantic fishery to become a global seafood business and an important contributor to the Labrador and Newfoundland market. Nevertheless, its share price has languished, and the firm was the target of a hostile takeover bid. The bid was not successful, due partially to government regulation on the business's stock ownership, but Young recognizes another effort is possible and wonders the best way to keep investor confidence in its present board and management team.
