The Three Strikes Law in California (Sequel): The Impact Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This is a continuation of the second part of the three parts of the case. The main event (1908.0) provides background on the California three strikes law, and then briefly describes the supporters and opponents of ballot measure and the arguments put forward on each side. The next two parts can be read continuously in the classroom. This is a brief summary of the continued impact of ballot initiative, which was overwhelmingly approved by the voters as to the state prison system and the state budget.
