The HBT Merger (U.S. Roles version) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

It is a roleplay case, meant for use in a leadership development course for MBA students. There are just two variants of the case, one for pupils playing the function of U.S.-based supervisors (L-22US), and one for pupils playing the role of China-based supervisors (L22CHN).

Each variant has a group of common facts, plus a group of facts known to that side. The roleplay if the players solicit advice from the other side aims mentioned in the case can only be successfully achieved, and work collectively to reach an agreement. Pupils must reset post-merger expectancies, address the underlying interests that are diverse and get back the amalgamation strategy on course. They have a chance to depict active listening, query, and comments regarding post-amalgamation expectations at HBT headquarters and at HBT Shanghai.
