Shifting the Diversity Climate: The Sodexo Solution Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case profiles the evolution of the diversity initiative at Sodexo. Diversity has become a key priority for Sodexo, North America in 2001, after the suit was filed and certified in Washington, DC against Sodexo Marriot Services, Inc, food services division, Sodexo merged in 1998. In 2002, Dr. Rohini Anand was hired Michel Landel, CEO of Sodexo, North America. Shortly thereafter, Anand recovered as the main variety for Sodexo, North America. Anand and Landel worked with several leaders develop and implement systems that support a variety of strategies. The team started to build the human resources processes that will address the issues in the lawsuit: training systems, the selection and announcement career center. By 2010, Sodexo, North America continues to grow in its diversity strategy and global diversity initiatives in the group was underway. In addition, the company has developed a variety of priorities focused on five different size difference from a global point of view of gender, race / ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability and age.
