Project Execution Dilemma at MICC Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The National Institute of Management awarded a project of refurbishing, costing INR30 million with time cycles of 08 months, to Mid-India Construction Private Company Limited (MICC). After the initiation, the project manager in a monthly review meeting found quite slow pace of execution with lack of resources that were deployed in the field.

This review rang an alarming bell for the manager to speed up the process of execution and to meet the resources that were needed on-site. The company started to explore the ways to put the project on a fast track within the financial and operational limitations. MICC has to find the alternatives according to the nature of the project site and project work, to execute the project in a more efficient way. The authors, Bhavin J.
