This is the eleventh in a series of lectures, which, when linked together in the book, could be entitled "Practical Regression." Goal score in addition to the theoretical content of most statistics texts with practical advice based on nearly three decades of experience of the author, along with more than a hundred years experience of colleagues who offered advice. As the title "Practical Regression" suggests, these notes guide performing the regression in practice. Using advanced such as hospital length of stay in a note explains how to "deconstruct" the regression to analyze how each variable contributes to the overall result. Regression is seen as an exercise in "benchmarking" explains why some of the observations in the data "outperform" or "Underperform" other. Residues considered as a potential measure of the effectiveness of management, although it should be treated with caution.
