Northern Forest (D): The Forest Landowners Association's Views Case Solution

This case describes the roles and views of signify the folks have land acquired within the Northern Forest. This five-case series helps students learn about the boom and bust behavioral pattern in the region, all stakeholders in the case desired to ensure that the overall demand for saw logs, as driven by sawmill capability, didn't exceed the rate at which the trees were growing.

They did not need sawmill demand to "overshoot" the productive ability of the forest resource, a classic issue in renewable resource markets witnessed almost hundred years ago. Pulls need to utilize thinking skill systems (analysis of benchmark modes of behaviors, causal loop mapping and stock flow mapping) in creating their causal hypotheses of the underlying systems arrangement.
