However, the founder, Gaurav Jain, along with entering into new markets, wanted to strengthen the bottom line of its current stores in Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. Jain required to have deeper knowledge of its current operations’ finance and find out the major approaches for his stores, not only at the city level but at the corporate level too. After the evaluation of finance, he might figure out the lacking of his existing stores and would also be able to explore a strategy for the expansion. The case asks students to form a financial model for stores and utilize it to compare different available options of growth.
