Indian Metal Company had been leading a prominent position in metallurgical industry for a century by 2013. The company’s headquarter situated in Metconagar in eastern India. As the company’s goal for expansion globally and regionally always demanded well-talented group of employees to lead the company, but it has been encountered with lack of professionals. Along with this, the company did not succeed to gain the attention of students from premier educational institutions.

This lack of talent in the market could create a significant threat for the company’s investment. The CEO summoned for a meeting with top executives to evaluate the existing threat and to find the alternatives to combat. The meeting did not end with a clear direction and concluded with only confusing views and counterviews.
The management assigned a committee to prepare a master plan for talent management. The team started the work by utilizing the secondary data on attrition and holding discussion with small groups of new talents. Now the team had to provide the results after this analysis.
