Genzyme Center (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Genzyme Corporation is in the middle of planning its innovative corporate headquarters, which incorporates many revolutionary green building features. Succeeding learning that the building as planned would probably earn a LEED Silver rating, an intermediate score in the LEED green building evaluation scheme, the CEO billed the building team with investigating opportunities that would enable the building to earn the highest rating, LEED Platinum.

Five additional green building attributes are described, and pupils are asked to examine and recommend which, if any, of these features to pursue based on their price, their influence on the building's environmental performance, and chance of earning LEED credits.
