As part of management information (MIS) evolution Division planned to distribute all the development of systems and applications (SD & S) activities and resources (assets and personnel) from the central MIS department operating areas in October 1990. However, unexpected changes in the higher levels of government precipitated the request in January 1989, a new operating area vice president to allocate resources immediately.
