Twine Health Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In the ending of December 2014, Dr. John Moore (CEO), Frank Moss (chairman) and Scott Gilroy (CTO) of Twine Health had to solve numerous trials that threatened to constrain the diffusion of its only product Twine. Twine was a cloud-established platform that empowered patients to create and manage chronic disease treatment plans along with their primary care providers and coaches that are specialized. Twine had already enjoyed impressive successes in early clinical trials and among early adopters.

The problems Twine's direction team had to address comprised and evaluating clinical care providers most inclined to pay for Twine, making sure adoption and effective use by patients and healthcare providers, increasing capacities to support the managing of additional chronic diseases, and seamlessly incorporating Twine with a customer organization’s electronic medical record (EMR) system and IT infrastructure. It needed to resolve these issues urgently as Twine was chosen as finalist in Health Acceleration Challenge sponsored by Harvard Business School and also Harvard Medical School.
