The Environment Development and Participation: the Dilemmas of Asociacion Civil Labor Spanish Version Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Asociacion Civil Labor is a private non-profit organization founded in 1981 in LLO, a city located in the important mining and fishing region in the south of Peru. Its original mission was to protect labor rights and the leadership of the workers in the mining industry, but within the first decade of its operation, this turned into a defense of sustainable community development and the rights of communities affected by mining activities. Labor case is particularly relevant for the analysis of some typical problems facing organizations, the organization focused electron promotion and protection of fundamental rights of the citizen. Over the years has established itself as an institution of labor and had a great impact on the protection of the environment, creating greater awareness of the impact of mining activities, as well as for state policy towards the sector in Peru.
