This technical note examines under which employers can assess their ideas before going ahead on the basis of who they are, what they know, and they know. Building on the framework presented in textbooks, trade books, journal articles, periodicals, and web sites that claim to predict the possibility and value of new business ideas. Figure 1 shows a simple and useful summary of the four key concepts at the center of many of these limits: it doable? Is it worth doing? Can I do this? Do I want to do this? These questions address the possibility of technical, market, financial, organizational and motivational point of view.
