Pioneer Corporation: The NEC Plasma Opportunity (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In the A case set in 2004, president of consumer electronics company, Kaneo Itoh, Pioneer Corporation, was considering getting the plasma display operations of a different Japanese firm, NEC. Additional capability would become mandatory while the company was assembling a new PDP generation facility that will soon become operational if demand continued to rise.
