Northern Forest (D): The Forest Landowners Associations Views Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case describes the roles and types are the people who own forest land in northern forests. Northern Forest (A) - (E) case series focuses students on boom and bust behavior in North sawmill wood. Stakeholders landowners sawmill owners of public officials environmentalists all want to make sure that the overall demand for logs, as shown in sawmill, do not exceed the rate at which trees grow. They did not want sawmill demand for "release" the productive capacity of forest resources, the classic problems in the economy, renewable resources, this region has experienced about a century earlier. Students are encouraged to use systems thinking skills (analysis of modes of behavior, and cause the cycle map and the map of the mass flux) in the establishment of causal hypotheses, the basic structure of the system.
