IBM: The Corporate Service Corps Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

It also explains the conception, development and enactment of the Corporate Services Corps (CSC), a global community service assignment for high-potential IBM workers. The year 2008 was the pilot year of the CSC plan, and 100 of IBM's finest world-wide workers were used to work for neighborhood partners, frequently non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in places including Ghana, Tanzania, Romania, Philippines and Vietnam. The case provides information for pupils to recommend what changes IBM should make for this program to continue and to assess the primary year of implementation. It also considers how the CSC matches into the broader corporate citizenship profile and the globalization method of IBM.
