Edward Norris and the Baltimore Police Department (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Edward Norris and the Baltimore Police Department (B) Case Solution

The B case presents, the complete action plan, for student evaluation that Ed Norris instituted when he became the police commissioner of Baltimore. He develops commitment from business leaders, community activists, cynical politicians, and fellow policemen, all under intense media scrutiny.
Norris uses creative benefits, seeks to effect cultural change, faces malcontents, reorganizes the section, increases use of technology, and embraces a policy of transparency with the media. The B and A cases are educated together quite successfully as a two-day course. Both instances contain wide-ranging video clips for faculty use and pupil training in course. Although similar to the Chicago Park District show this show is not ten years older.

This is just an excerpt. This case is about  LEADERSHIP & MANAGING PEOPLE
