Case Analysis of BP Oil Spill

The BP faced a disastrous oil spill in the year 2010. The Corporate Relationship Management was involved in the case to be dealt with, however the management failed to do so. The oil spill in 2010 has been evaluated by the (De Wolf, 2013), as he used the crisis management theory to investigate the theory. The theory explores the three phases of the crisis management with respect to the oil spill of BP. Moreover, the first phase was pre-crisis phase for BP’s management, which investigated the report of the post-accident situation of the company, accidents occurred through BP and the reputation of the BP.
