Canary Wharf Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

September 25, 2002, Peter Anderson, was to meet with Morgan Stanley for ten minutes. Anderson was CFO of Canary Wharf Group (CWG) with Paul Reichmann and a group of investors had bought Canary Wharf in 1995. Anderson joined Olympia & York in 1989 to fund Canary Wharf and struggled through bankruptcy of the project and its parent company, Olympia & York. He stayed with Reichmann through these difficult years and worked with him to buy the project from the banks. Thanks in part to the ability of Anderson to raise the capital needed to Canary Wharf, to finance its growth, the project is now universally recognized as a very successful one.
