Wolters Brewery (A): Negotiating Restructuring Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The sequence of the two cases are shown in (A), the situation is a multinational brewer, Inbev, received several breweries in Germany who want to start operational integration and closure of smaller, less efficient plants. This step causes resistance not only from the local labor force, but also the local community. For Inbev, this is a case of corporate restructuring and strategy. However, for a group of local entrepreneurs, it is an opportunity to build a Management Buy-Out (MBO) and recreate the historic local brewery.
