2.2 Legal System

The legal system of Ukraine is not clear and the illegal activities are on peak, which ranks the country higher on the most corrupt countries’ list. The higher education system is also deep in corruption, which is used to have extra income is generated. Illegal markets are established where the item are sold in black markets and higher revenue is generated because of that. Money laundering is done by the higher authorities in Ukraine. There is no proper compliance and regulation system, which may control such activities.

2.3 Economic System

There is high corruption in economic practices, because the tax benefit is given to the mega firms by the government and high tax proposed to the SMEs. Because of the political corruption, the economic instability exists and nepotism is on a larger scale in private firms. Some initiatives have been taken from the past years to overcome such economic crises, but still the country has not overcame the higher rate of corruption. There is a cycle of poor system and regulation in every department. (See Exhibit 1)

 3. Recommendations

The anti-corruption initiatives can be taken by Ukraine through the strategic programs and the proper laws and legislation. The country can make transparent policies which should be followed by every individuals and politicians. The main step must be taken via  legal system where the fraudulent and fake companies must be shut down. Another step that could be taken by the government is that the fair elections must be held and the right votes must be casted by individuals.

However, Ukraine has exports in the agricultural and IT sector, which can create highest opportunities if the economic aspects are favorable and a tax reliefis provided in the trade. If the economy is well planned and a proper budget is given to the agriculture sector, where the sector can get the competitive advantage, then Ukraine can improve its image in the world. Moreover, if the country provides subsidiaries to many sector and equal distribution is provided, then it would help the company to overcome the corruption, especially in the corporate world. For example: tax relief should be given to both the corporate as well as the SMEs. (Grødeland, 2010)

Moreover, strategic operations must be executed proper and a proper check and balance should be done to improve the country’s circumstances.The role of leadership in strategic management is most important for the country. A leader is a linkage between the strategies and goals of the firm. The right decisions of leader makes the country achieve its long term objectives. Because of a great leader, a country can rank least in corruption through having advancements.

The diversity and inclusion policy of the country must be made, which creates an inclusive workplace for the people of any religion, race, culture, gender, age, sexual orientation and physical ability. The diversity policy should be strongly focused on, through an effective implementation of equal opportunities for disable people at workplace. Diversity and inclusion provides valuable competitive advantages to the country in terms of productivity, performance and morale through equitable practices that treat,develop and select people on the basis of fairness and merit.......................
