This case is the question of where to hold the association next year meeting. It provides a rich opportunity to become familiar with the use of a small amount of historical data (10 points) in the assessment of probability distributions. It also includes several other continuous and discrete distribution, which should be included in the table model, the student builds. As the case leaves unclear whether the ultimate measure of performance for the next year's conference to be profitable or increase attendance, it also offers the opportunity to discuss several objectives.
