Abstract:

By the end of the 1990s paths run by airline company alliances represented over half of all traveler flight and 80% of airline company revenues. Confronted with issues of scale, margins and expenses, and with the danger of enhanced competitors by international alliances, Swissair looks for to develop its own alliance.
