Six Sigma at Academic Medical Hospital (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case focuses on the implementation and maintenance of improvements developed Six Sigma teams working in the emergency room of the academic hospital. Implementation of information on the different phases of Six Sigma is presented in the case (UV0339). Black Belt team decided to use stakeholder resistance tests to help the team to increase stakeholder acceptance process improvement changes that have been tested with the pilot study. In the case asks students to analyze the resistance of stakeholders to develop a strategy of influence and communication plans to address the problems of acceptance of the project and to prepare a speech for the elevator key stakeholders identified in the case.
