The case follows the story of Brazilian magnate, Ricardo Semler, who took the household marine-pump organisation, Semco, to multi-national, multi-sector success. To perform so, Ricardo Semler considerably altered his own leadership design by giving up control and working less difficult, and consequently changed the civilization at Semco by means of an extreme procedure of work environment democratisation.
