Regarding NAFTA Case Solution

In the aftermath of World War II, the modern nations united in an unparalleled bout of construction, through which historic obstacles, such as tariffs, to international trade, ceased to exist.

This complete change of the surroundings of world trade was carried out by GATT to such an extent that international trade flows have exploded. Nevertheless, a second round of institutions, regional rather than international, has emerged, even as global trade has become more integrated. The most recent and largest of the major regional institutions was endorsed on 12/17/92 and was implemented in 1994, was called NAFTA. This case examines the effect of this radically new institutional context on three different companies, each representing an alternative sector and nation.
