As a freshman at Harvard University in 1992, Eric Dawson began work on a social service project, known as the world of the game, a one-day festival to teach school children about peace and cooperation. Dawson, however, had a great idea for a program. Operating first at Harvard and then through an independent non-profit that he founded, Dawson turns the world of games from a simple celebration community in kindergarten-8th grade, a year of conflict resolution curriculum, which it hopes to implement in schools across the country.
