SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths:

The most critical advantage that the company carries with itself is that it has the knowledge regarding the changing trends and requirements of the segment of population it attends and this is something that is most critical for the company to move and pursue the right objectives. This information regarding the needs of the costumers and the population has enabled the management of the company to pursue appropriate strategies and policies. This has enabled the company to meet the market requirements and address the demands of the costumers. The market awareness will efficiently increase the operation of the company. The information regarding the clients and the patients of the medical institute will support the company in moving towards efficient functioning and operational efficiency of the company.

Weaknesses:

Information gaining process from the medical clients and the patients is a time consuming process. The process involves generation of information from the patients end and clinicians end. The liability in this process can be the accuracy of the information being conveyed to the organization. The patients might not be conveying the accurate or required information to the medical institute or the medical institutes might not be trained enough to efficiently transfer the information to the designated location where the company has respective people allocated to deal with the occurred issue.

Opportunities:

The company will be able to provide the people with an enhanced information management system. The overall death rates of the company will be reduced as the patients would be getting and efficient treatment in smaller time window. The increased knowledge with the clinicians regarding their patients will enable them in providing a higher quality of care and medical treatment. The medical treatment being provided to the patients will not have to be sorted out first and discussed. The physicians and the patients would already be aware about the medical treatment that would be suitable to their disease. Quick treatment to the customers will be an indication of better and enhanced quality of services while maintaining low costs for the procedures and medical treatments.

Threats:

The information gaining from the patients is not a complex task. The industry consists of huge numbers of competitors and the competitors might quickly adapt to the strategy of the company. The competitors might imitate the operations of the company and might quickly launch a method that allows the competitor to gain a higher level of knowledge from the patients. The imitation of the process can eliminate the point of differentiation for the company. Through these changes the company cannot maintain the point of differentiation for longer period of time.

Alternatives:

HealthCare Industry’s needs are ever changing, which result in changing the parameters and the dimensions of the industry. These changing needs of the patients and the medical clients force the companies to offer a higher level of value through a high quality of services. PHS strategy to gain more information regarding their patients will enable them to understand and predict the future changes in the requirements of the medical treatments in the industry.

The future knowledge of the changing requirements will help them in identifying the potential changes required in the medical treatments and they would be able to efficiently respond to such transformation in the industry.
