1.3 Leadership Style

My leadership style is servant leadership and the traits which I possessed were always focused on the team and serve them where they need. I always preferred my team over my interest. This trait helped me to build uniformity among my team members and focused on the target. They never felt shy nor hesitated to share any issue. I must say that this trait is the backbone for me to become a successful leader. The important practice which is for the neurology department that the issues and the obstacles must be known and the prompt initiatives should be done before the alarming situation. Sometimes I thought that I should adopt the transactional style where the motivation is done and my team members would be rewarded and given a penalty for not doing the task properly. This can help to evaluate which member is working efficiently and who is being concentrated. For instance, if any member is not working properly and showing the negligence so he must be given penalty. See appendix 1

1.4 Personality Style

My personality style is amiable where I have always been friendly and calm towards my team and made them feel relaxed. I took the hurdles personally and this was sometimes a difficult situation for me.Sometimes I feel I should adopt the driver style because there your members must be well-organized like you and they should have the same focus towards the task as you. As a leader, I must maintain the neurology department clean and well-organized with proper and systematic operations. See appendix 2

1.5 Personality Trait

The personality trait which I possess is conscientiousness where I have been organized and vigilant rather than careless. In my university final project, I was very careful and disciplined according to the guidelines and rules. This helped my team members to be attentive and report to me the everyday task which they performed. I believe that being conscientious is the main contribution to becoming a successful leader in my life. As a leader in neurology department, the main focus on the operations which must be proper and well structured. Other than that, the department must have the surveillance system to monitor and control any uncertain condition. The staff must be polite and cooperative where the practice of healthcare system must be transparent and healthy. See the appendix 3............................
