Emprendedores juvenile de Nicaragua (EJN, Nicaragua young entrepreneurs) was established in 1991 as a branch of Junior Achievement International (JAI). Since 1997, the EJN have developed a new approach to the traditional model of JAI to the education of young entrepreneurs, young people at risk by choosing to participate in its programs. Although the model of the new young entrepreneurs managed to get continued support from UNICEF, traditional programs, mainly through private sector contributions, lost momentum, and finally, there was the beneficiary in 2000. In late 2002, the executive director of the program was to find a strong support for the traditional program, and are expected to maintain or increase the number of beneficiaries in the new format.
